Then, I heard about willow tree. Willow tree was actually the chemical inspiration for aspirin... the Indians used to use willow like we use aspirin. I did read somewhere that actually you should just take one aspirin and dissolve it in 5 gallons of water... and that too much aspirin will hurt the plants. Mine are all still growing so I have to see what happens. To make the willow tea, I blended leaves and young stalks in my NutriBullet... I would guess that this will still work... after all, willow trees don't need hot water to activate the root hormone, right? Any comments?Bibihttps://www.blogger.com/profile/13227854483906496515noreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7372418634146198209.post-30417934377287654992012-01-20T14:10:24.815-05:002012-01-20T14:10:24.815-05:00I am so honored that you would think so. I was very happy to hear of this method for rooting cuttings and thought I would share the information with my gardening friends. I visit your blog and know from your pictures and articles that I am not alone in my love of gardening and the nature surrounding us.Debrahttp://www.gardensinspired.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7372418634146198209.post-80913291364088401732012-01-20T13:58:10.022-05:002012-01-20T13:58:10.022-05:00Hello Elaine - thanks for visiting!Hello Elaine - thanks for visiting!Debrahttp://www.gardensinspired.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7372418634146198209.post-33669718375687354792012-01-20T13:57:17.800-05:002012-01-20T13:57:17.800-05:00Hi Bridget, thanks for visiting!Hi Bridget, thanks for visiting!Debrahttp://www.gardensinspired.blogspot.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7372418634146198209.post-78669764780424701712012-01-20T09:20:27.107-05:002012-01-20T09:20:27.107-05:00I often leave cuttings in the Willow water until t...I often leave cuttings in the Willow water until they send out roots...good percentage of success.Bridgethttp://www.arignagardener.wordpress.comnoreply@blogger.comtag:blogger.com,1999:blog-7372418634146198209.post-35869923279113397942012-01-20T09:05:15.058-05:002012-01-20T09:05:15.058-05:00Welcome, hardinars.
